A lot can be said and has been said (and taught ) concerning prayer.
A lot of what has been said-in the Body of Christ- is very correct and full of excellent teaching.
Most Christian bookstores are full of wonderful teachings, inspiration and testimonies of the multiple aspects of prayer and praying.
In this, we recognize that there are actually MANY types of prayer, as well.
For purposes of this website and ministry, however, we will focus , simply, on what may be called "Revival Prayer or Praying,,, "
A) O.K. Fellow Christian, teaching coming here, that you won't get at your local 'fast food' , sloppy 'agape' , type of church here. This is teaching that will step on religious toes here.
First, it would be beneficial to understand that, in the Gospels, EVERYTIME the Lord 'gathered his disciples together' - and taught them 'something'-that was a symbol of something that was FOUNDATIONAL to the church-that (the Lord knew,,) would be birthed through "those 12" , , ,
When the Lord Jesus gathered "his 12" He was not only 'speaking to His present church'-but it was something that was meant to be understood by ALL of His church,,,,,on down the ages,,,that would 'come out' of those 12.
Got that ?
Jesus talks to and gathers His 12 ?
He's "talking" FOUNDATIONAL, basic, "this is what it means to follow Me" - [PAY ATTENTION !] - type of stuff , , ,
B) Revival praying -is simply, humility- in true Bible form.
TEACHING CONCERNING REVIVAL PRAYER Concerning being humble , before the Lord, in prayer, the following basic, simple teaching has often been OVERLOOKED in these well known, basic Bible accounts that most all of the Christian community is well familiar with.
These accounts are those when the Lord took the bread and multiplied it,,,(scripture references,,)
Church of the Living God. Do you REALLY want "the bread of heaven" ?
Then, if you do-we must all "follow the pattern , , ,"
In each and every instance, there was NO supernatural manifestation, of any kind, until the following events occured.
These events occured in each and every account of the multiplication of bread story,,,
1) No matter what amount of resources was presented to Jesus as "being available", it did not matter what the amount was-in each and every case, whether it was five loaves, seven loaves, or whatever-each time the Lord asked "for it all'
The point should be obvious. If the lad had five loaves and the disciples only gave the Lord two of the five-Jesus would have rejected it-and no miracle would have happened.
Jesus himself, when asked what was the "most important COMMANDMENT in the Old testement-said "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with ALL, , ,,
Point one, of the multiplication of the loaves story-as it relates to prayer.
You've got to "give it your all". The disciples were told to give the Lord ALL of the loaves, all of the fish-not part, not some-ALL.
Yes, if you are a new believer there is a time of grace, for you to "grow up". Sooner or later, however, the time for growing up is over-and the Lord requires of us ALL-to be dedicated to Him-with and in our own personal prayer lives.
We've GOT to "give Him our ALL". Point One.
Therefore, present your bodies a living sacrifice,,,
2) In each and every case of multiplying, after blessing,,,NO multiplication occured until,,,search it out.
often missed, however-NO SUPERNATURAL TOUCH until, what was put in the Lords hands was
Prayer, unless it becomes an act and a process of humility and brokeness...
"not MY will-but thine be done,,,
there will be no supernatural manifestation of power. --------------------------------------------------
Prayer must be a daily thing-Luke 11
Moses, Joshua, Valley The church has missed this,,,,! This is a symbol of us praying-no praying no victory,,,we MUST pray ! !
